Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa Image

150726-M-ZZ999-052 ARTA BEACH, Djibouti (July 26, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Daniel Molina establishes a battle-sight zero with his M4 carbine. Molina is a vehicle commander with Combined Anti-Armor Team 1, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Djibouti for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
