CJTF-HOA Task Force Alamo Soldiers compete for German Armed Forces Badge

A week’s worth of physical, mental and technical challenges stood between 41 Task Force Alamo National Guard Soldiers and the German Armed Forces Badge for military proficiency last week, and on Jan. 22, 33 of the Soldiers were awarded the metallic award.

CJTF-HOA kick starts first-ever relationship with Intergovernmental Authority on Development

Foreign Liaison Officers and U.S. military members assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa met for the first time in a formal meeting with officials from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development Jan. 16 in Djibouti.

Africa Data Sharing Network information exchange prepares Djiboutian soldiers for deployment to Somalia

Four U.S. Army Soldiers from the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa communications directorate held an Africa Data Sharing Network, version two, information exchange with Djibouti Armed Forces (FAD) soldiers Dec. 26, at FAD Headquarters in Djibouti.
