5TH FRENCH MARINES BATTALION MONCLAR BARRACKS, Djibouti (Nov. 11, 2011) - A joint formation of U.S. service members comprised of Marines, Navy, Army and Air Force attached to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, march onto the 5th French Marines Battalion Monclar Barracks parade grounds for an international Veterans/Remembrance Day Ceremony, November 11. America's Veteran's Day is a day set aside to honor the veterans of America's wars. It was originally known as Armistice Day to commemorate the official ending of hostilities in World War I, which occurred at the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.
