CAV Leads M9, M4 Requalification Course for Soldiers In Djibouti

CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (Aug. 29, 2012) - A 5.56 mm bullet casing is ejected out of an M4 Carbine assault rifle during a firearms re-qualification course at the Djiboutian Police Range, in Djibouti City, Djibouti, Aug. 29, 2012. Cadre from Task Force Raptor, 3rd Squadron, 124th Cavalry Regiment, Texas Army National Guard re-qualified 10 Soldiers on the M9 pistol and M4 to stay mission ready. The soldiers are assigned to the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, whose mission is to strengthen partner nation military capacity, promote regional stability, dissuade conflict, and protect U.S. and coalition interests within the combined joint operations area.
