Service members prepare for French Desert Commando Course

U.S. military members complete a 10-minute swim assessment during a physical training test at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Aug. 5, 2017. The test was in preparation for an upcoming multi-day French Desert Commando Course that will challenge participants physically and mentally through land and water obstacles, combat scenarios and extreme endurance exercises while surviving in austere field conditions.
