Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa Image

Pfc. Fabio Saldanha, Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment gunner, engages a simulated target during a fire team exercise in Arta, Djibouti, Oct. 20, 2016. During the exercise, one team would provide cover fire while the other team advanced on a simulated target. The intent of the exercise was to teach soldiers how to move from inside a vehicle when in contact with the enemy, exit the vehicle, and then return fire effectively using live ammunition on simulated targets.
