Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa Commanding General, U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. David Furness, visits Marines that secure the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania, Sept. 27, 2017. During the visit, Furness specifically recognized U.S. Marine Sgt. Jessica Valdez, Assistant Detachment Commander Section Chief and U.S. Marine Sgt.
