403rd Civil Affairs Functional Specialty Team conducts Combat Lifesaver Course for Italian partners

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Carmen Lozano, a medic with the 403rd Civil Affairs (CA) Battalion Functional Specialty Team (FXSP), assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, leads a lesson on airway management for Italian military students at Base Militar Italiano de Supporte, Jan. 15, 2019. Airway management is a primary focus of the Combat Lifesaver Course, conducted for members of the Italian military and Carabinieri by medics from the 403rd CA FXSP.
