CJTF-HOA supports multinational effort to save Djiboutian lives, land

Camp Lemonnier Fire and Emergency Services firefighters use a hose to extinguish a fire alongside Chinese firefighters at Douda landfill in Djibouti, Aug. 14, 2019. At the request of the government of Djibouti and in support of the U.S. Embassy Djibouti, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa engineers worked alongside Camp Lemonnier, Djiboutian, French and Chinese firefighters to help stop a fire at the landfill from spreading.
