French Général de Corps d'Armee Patrick Destremau visits CJTF-HOA

French Général de Corps d'Armee Patrick Destremau, Director of the Institute of Higher National Defense Studies (IHEDN) and Higher Military Education (EMS), along with members of his staff and distinguished guests receive a mission brief from U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Damian T. Donahoe deputy commanding general, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Jan. 11, 2021. The members of this IHEDN include senior civilian and military leaders, French and partner-nations alike, who will acquire a better understanding of international relations and defense issues. US AFRICOM Commander Visits East Africa Region
U.S. Air Force Gen. Dagvin Anderson, commander, U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), and AFRICOM senior leaders, conducted a series of high-level visits to Africa with stops in Ethiopia, Somaliland and Puntland, Nov. 23-27, 2025. The visits were part of an East Africa trip aimed to strengthen America’s strategic approach to confronting terrorism through mutual engagement, stronger cooperation, and aligned security priorities.
