CJTF Chaplain Celebrates Holy Week with Deployed Personnel

During his visit to various units around East Africa, Chaplain (U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel) David Terrinoni celebrated Christian Holy Week with Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) personnel beginning with a Palm Sunday service on April 17.

Camp Lemonnier Personnel Integrate, Enhance Security Efforts

U.S. Navy and Air Force personnel at Camp Lemonnier integrated their security forces into one cohesive unit July 1.

The overall purpose of this integration was to enhance security efforts on camp. Before the integration, the two branches had separate areas of security responsibility, which presented a few challenges.

CJTF-HOA Welcomes New Senior Enlisted Leader

U.S. Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant James Davis assumed the role of the of the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa command senior enlisted leader during a senior enlisted leader change of responsibility ceremony here September 22.

Davis accepted his new role as the senior enlisted leader for CJTF-HOA by saluting U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Michael Franken, CJTF-HOA commander, who presided over the ceremony. Davis previously served as command chief master sergeant for 18th Win

CJTF-HOA Dedicates Walela Bridge in Uganda

More than 500 Ugandan residents attended the dedication of a new concrete bridge --one that will improve the lives of thousands by providing them with year-round access to the market and aiding in the delivery of humanitarian supplies.
