CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (Dec. 27, 2010) Constructionman Darrel Storie, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 74, Detail Horn of Africa (HOA), uses a water quality meter to test the purity level of potable water produced by the Pre-positioned Expeditionary Assistance Kit (PEAK) on Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, December 27, 2010.  The PEAK purifies water at a rate of 100 gallons per hour and provides field distributed essential services including potable water, renewable power and communications during humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts. NMCB 74 Det. HOA is currently deployed to CJTF-HOA and is scheduled to demonstrate the PEAK to host nation partners throughout the region in January 2011.
