U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Provides Security For Arriving U.S. Ship
U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Boniface Manyanya, Coastal Riverine Squadron One-Forward (CRS1-FWD) corpsman, stands watch while providing security for a United States Ship arriving into the Port of Djibouti. The CRS1-FWD, commanded by U.S. Coast Guard Cmdr. Alan Tubbs, provide port and harbor security, protect high value assets and perform maritime security operations off the coast of Djibouti. Tubbs is currently the only Coast Guardsman commanding a U.S. Navy unit.
