Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 261 Reinforced took on the Aviation Combat Element mission from the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 364 following a transfer of authority ceremony at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Oct. 1.
Our members came together to write messages of hope around Camp Lemonnier on Friday. Chalking the Camp was part of our ongoing Suicide Prevention Awareness Month initiative to spread awareness of our helping agencies and resources for those who are struggling.

Service members from the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa met at the Sheraton Hotel Djibouti for the Women, Peace, and Security level 100 course. Through the course they focused on what it means to be a gender focal point within the ranks of the armed forces.
