CJTF-HOA works with U.S. Embassy Tanzania in exercise to maintain regional readiness

U.S. Military service members from Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), will conduct a long standing pre-planned exercise with the
U.S. Embassy in Tanzania in support of security cooperation efforts for the region and enhancing the Tanzania crisis response capabilities. The exercise is conducted by the East Africa Response Force in collaboration with the Tanzania’s People Defense Forces.

204th MEB Transfers Authority of CJTF-HOA Mission to 158th MEB

Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti – The 204th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (MEB), Utah Army National Guard, transferred authority of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) headquarters staff mission to the 158th MEB, Arizona Army National Guard, on Dec. 13, 2024, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.
