The team assigned to Combined Joint Task Force- Horn of Africa, traveled approximately 100 miles to gather water samples and learn about the biology of the lake, along with it’s utility to the nearby village. Service members assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa paid tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in service to their country during a Memorial Day ceremony here May 25, 2015. More than 300 joint service members, including a joint-service platoon formation, attended the ceremony, which was officiated by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Mark Stammer, CJTF-HOA commander, and U.S. Navy Capt. Matthew O’Keefe, Camp Lemonnier commander.
